Fifteen cannabis plants as well as cannabis leaf was seized when officers raided the property in Gladys St on Friday morning.
“About 10.30am on Friday, police from the Tamworth Target Action Group (TAG) executed a search warrant on a Gladys St property in East Tamworth,” Oxley Inspector Matt French told The Leader on Friday afternoon.
“Police seized 15 cannabis plants and about 360g of cannabis leaf.”
Officers questioned a man at the property who they said has been “assisting police with their inquiries”.
“A 46-year-old male will be issued with a future court attendance notice for cultivating a prohibited plant and possessing a prohibited drug,” Inspector French said.
Investigations are continuing and the drugs will undergo forensic analysis.
“Police will act on any information from the community,” Inspector French said.
