The SN number 11 dived full length to break a 1-all deadlock midway through the second half and after Sydney East's Alex Prior had equalised produced a jinking stepping run to land the match winner.
It ended a big week for the Sydney North side with Noah Goodman and captain Max Marsters also being named in the NSW side to contest a national series in Mandurah, Western Australia in late October.
Sydney East's Ryan Mulholland also made the State side after a "sensational week of touch", said North West Schools Sports sport organiser Richard Rowlings.
Ben Thomas, vice president of the NSW PSSA, agreed.
"We've had a sensational couple of days," he said.
"The standard of touch was simply outstanding. I spoke to the refs as well and they said the level of sportsmanship was of high level."
