Police from across the state have been deployed to back up local Tamworth officers as part of Operation Ashgrove – the operation launched to patrol the 10-dayfestival.
On Monday, police confirmed most festival goers and locals had been well behaved, with just a handful of isolated incidents keeping officers busy.
Police are targeting anti-social behaviour, alcohol-related crime, theft and suspicious activity and are hitting the streets of Tamworth on bikes, foot, buggies and police vans. The operation runs until Sunday.
