The statement blaming Tony Windsor for the rises is completely false and very un-becoming for someone who aspires to lead this country. He knows full well that given the severe income and spending restraints that our budget is under that to wipe a source of income won’t be on.
If he wants to repeal taxes he would be better repealing regressive taxes such as payroll taxes, stamp duty and the myriad of state and federal regressive taxes, which harm employment and productive economic activity.
