Healthwise will run a free chat and check-up program in Currabubula on Thursday, to promote health and education.
Senior primary health care nurse Christine Connor said the event would provide blood pressure, blood glucose and heart rate checks - all for free.
"It's just about making people mindful that their health is so important," Ms Connor said.
With a coffee and morning tea also on offer, Ms Connor said the informal setting gave nurses the opportunity to check in with all aspects of peoples' lives and have a chat.

"We've had so many things happen, we've had drought, flood, fire and COVID," she said.
"A lot of people have been left affected by just not one but one after the other.
"It's just a chance for the community to catch up."
Describing the service as a "first point of contact", Ms Connor said the free event wasn't a replacement for going to the doctor, but was a good place to start.
If issues and concerns are uncovered visitors will be encouraged to visit a doctor, pharmacy or counselor.
Without the time pressure of a normal GP appointment the nurses promise to check in with everyone who turns up, no matter how long it takes.
"We won't leave until every gets their blood pressure done," Ms Connor said.
While the event is open to anyone in the community, the morning tea has been designed to specifically attract women - a group Ms Connor said often put others in front of their own health.
"A lot of the time I say to these ladies 'you're the caretaker of everyone else, but you need to look after your own health'."
The coffee and catch up session is just one of the programs Healthwise run to service small towns.
You'll often find them at farm field days and community events offering free health checks, Ms Connor said.
The free health checks and morning tea will be held at the Currabubula Pub and Cafe on Thursday April 7 and will start at 10am.
