This year the awards will be a mid-week celebration co-hosted by multi Golden Guitar winners and ARIA nominated artists Adam Harvey and Beccy Cole on Wednesday, April 20.
Country music legend Troy Cassar-Daley and ARIA nominated group The Wolfe Brothers - who have both picked up a swag of nominations - will headline a long list of stars set to perform on the night.
Troy Cassar-Daley - who is up for eight awards - is the top nominee for the night and is also on par with the iconic Slim Dusty and legendary Lee Kernaghan, for winning the greatest number of Golden Guitar awards.
It's a record-breaking year for the awards, with more than 760 entries, Country Music Association of Australia (CMAA) chairman Dobe Newton said.
"After what has been a tough few years for artists and the industry it will be a great moment to celebrate and recognise those who've made an outstanding contribution to Australian Country Music," he said.

Eleven-time Golden Guitar and three-time ARIA winner Shane Nicholson - who's up for five awards - will also perform, as will Felicity Urquhart and Josh Cunningham and the evening's co-host Adam Harvey.
Tamworth local Ashleigh Dallas, Angus Gill, The Weeping Willows, 2020 Toyota Star Maker winner Sammy White, Cass Hopetoun, Camille Trail, Darlinghurst and Raechel Whitchurch will also take to the stage.
Organisers of the event say tickets are selling well, but there's still a few more to be snapped up.
"The awards will feature some of the most accomplished artists and new talent, so I encourage everyone to grab a ticket and come along," executive producer Peter Ross said.
The 2022 50th Golden Guitars Awards will be held at 7.30pm on Wednesday, April 20 at the Tamworth Regional Entertainment and Conference Centre.
