A Tamworth man's smoko break quickly turned from ordinary to extraordinary when he scratched a $100,000 prize on his Instant Scratch-Its ticket.

The top prize winning $5 Crosswords ticket was purchased at Shoppingworld Newsagency.
On a call with Lott officials, the tradie explained he was still struggling to comprehend the "exciting news".
"I went to my local shopping centre to grab some smoko," he said.
"I got myself a couple of scratchies while I was there and sat down to scratch them.

"Lo and behold, I had all the words! I couldn't believe it.
"I re-checked the ticket about 50 times. It felt so good to have a win!"
With $100,000 about to hit his bank account, the stoked bloke had plenty of ways he thought he might enjoy his prize.
"I'm going to put it towards a house deposit," he said.
"I'll be able to help some family out and get myself some new tools.
"It will be absolutely life-changing for me!"
