Following the club's AGM on Sunday, they will now be known as the Tamworth Swans Australian Football and Netball Club.
The special resolution to change the club's name was put forward by reinstated president Josh McKenzie after the netball branch joined two years ago.
McKenzie said it was a reflection of the makeup of the club.

"With the growth of the club, our membership is probably more half [AFL] and half [netball] now," he said.
"We've got six netball teams which could grow again next year. It's pretty natural for the club to make sure they're recognised within the constitution and the name of the club."
McKenzie also said the name change represents the evolution of the club.
He said while there had been administrative challenges thanks to the growth of the club, there had been far more positives to come from the expansion.
"The spirit within the club is very different and the functions that we have had with the netballers have been very big functions," McKenzie said.
"We've been blessed with some players in the netball that have really embraced the culture of the Swans and the way we want to go about our sport.
"So it's a good extension of the Swans brand."
The opportunities to come together as a whole club have been scarce over the past two years with covid restrictions but as they ease further, McKenzie hoped that was a problem of the past.
"Covid has presented some challenges for us in terms of really having an all of club set-up with restrictions on numbers or attendance at netball games and football games," he said.
McKenzie added: "Socially and support-wise, there's footballers that know netball and netballers that know football and hopefully that will grow."
At the AGM on Sunday, the club also announced coaches for the AFL teams in 2022 as well as their committee.
Paul Kelly will again coach the men while Andrew Donohue is back to coach the women.
