Abby Schmiedel, who captain-coached the Kootingal Roosters to a LLT minor premiership, made the assertion after Group 4 made public the points for all best and fairest awards for the shortened season.
North Tamworth star Resch polled 22 points during the 12 rounds that were played before the COVID-19 pandemic ended the season to make it back-to-back best and fairest accolades.

Dungowan's Jada Taylor was five points back in second with Werris Creek's Jess Baker third on 15 points.
Resch was also leading pointscorer (150) and second highest try-scorer, crossing for 25 tries in the 12 games. That mighty effort was bettered by just one person - Schmiedel, who crossed for 27.
Schmiedel is also one of Resch's best friends and while they have played a lot of oztag together over the years their friendship endures even brighter in their rivalry over the past two seasons with Abby at Kootingal and Kim with the Bears.
So who better than Abby to comment on the performances and abilities of the shy Kim.
"She's been one of the best players in the competition for a number of years now," she said.
"She would have been the best and fairest winner for a few years now.
"But she's so good in all codes (of sport).
"She is so naturally gifted. She's always aware of opportunities. I've always loved playing with her and when I've played against her you know how unpredictable she can be. She's very talented.
"She really was a standout each week. And we were neck and neck all season for the highest tryscorer as well."
North Tamworth coach James Cooper agreed with Schmiedel's comments.
"She was having a great season," Cooper said.
"And she's been a great player for a number of seasons. Just such a natural athlete with great ability."
He said she had everything, pace and poise, catch and pass.
"Her athletic ability as a point of difference to everyone else was great. And she was fit. We played her at fullback and the strategy was simple. If she got into broken field was just to attack."
That she did with relentless precision as seen by not only her 25 tries but the numerous try assists she provided for her teammates.
It enabled the Bears to score a huge 462 points in their 12 games. Only Manilla's second grade men's side (510) and Kootingal's LLT side (500) scored more points.
