Troy O'Neile and Cody Morgan both saddled up runners for the Country Magic Association Class 6 Showcase Plate (1175m) with both going down by the slimmest of margins.
Jenny Graham's The Drake took home the chocolates with Cassy's Sister, trained by O'Neile, and Ice In Vancouver, trained by Morgan, finishing second and third respectively.
The official margin between first and second was 0.06 lengths and 0.16 lengths separated first and third.
The two Tamworth horses hit the front after the 200-metre mark and battled it out as The Drake let down.
The Port Macquarie galloper kept chewing into the margin to just nab the other two horses on the line.
