A MAN is in a serious but stable condition in hospital after he was pinned inside his car after it rolled in the early hours of Friday morning.

The man, aged in his 20s, was injured when his car lost control on the Ashford Road at Ashford, just before 3am.
An Ambulance NSW spokesperson said a triple zero call alerted paramedics to the man who was trapped in the wreckage near Inverell, after the car rolled and landed on its side.
The spokesperson said the patient suffered multiple injuries. He was eventually released by rescue crews, where paramedics treated him for shoulder, pelvic and leg injuries.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked to the accident scene due to the nature of his injuries.
The chopper's critical care medical team on board assessed the man and he was flown to Lismore hospital in a serious but stable condition.
