A TEENAGER has been seriously injured after his car slammed into a tree on Thursday night.

The 18-year-old was driving on the Rowena Road at Rowena about 11pm when his car left the road and crashed into a tree.
Three ambulances were deployed including the Westpac Rescue Helicopter, along with other emergency services.
"The 18-year-old was trapped for a period of time, and he was treated for multiple injuries," an Ambulance NSW spokesperson said.

The patient was pinned in the wreckage by his legs, emergency services said.
He was freed from the crash and treated at the scene for serious injuries.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter's critical care medical team then airlifted the man to Tamworth hospital for emergency treatment.
The Ambulance NSW spokesperson said the man was in a serious but stable condition.
