NSW Oztag made the decision to postpone the tournament - scheduled to be played this Friday-Sunday - due to the recent rain and the predicted rainfall.
Coffs Harbour got over 40mm on Monday and Tuesday, while rain was still about on Wednesday, but it's the forecast that is the major concern.

From Thursday to Sunday, the possible rainfall for Coffs is 165mm-275mm.
"If the minimum rain predicted falls the fields will still be water logged and unplayable," a NSW Oztag statement read.
Tamworth Oztag coordinator Pam Potts said it was disappointing the tournament was postponed but the Taipans would now look ahead to the new dates of May 14-16.
"All the winter sports will start by then so we'll have a few people affected with football and league tag but all our teams are stable," Potts said.
"We might have to scramble for a couple players but everyone's keen to make the effort to get to it."
The Taipans had been training for two months for the state cup but would likely now take a break.
"It's nearly two months away, if we continued we'd have been training for four months. It's worth giving everyone a couple weeks off," Potts said.
