After leading the whole race, the five-year-old looked the winner for most of the straight but a late burst from race favourite Unearthed meant a look at the photo was required.
It showed Miss Eporetto had done enough to hold on and beat Unearthed while the fast-finishing Chuisle was a head away in third.
Apprentice jockey Mikayla Weir steered the mare to victory and said getting the lead was key.
"I thought being in front and having her own way is her go," Weir told Sky Thoroughbred Central.
"She was able to kick on the turn and sustain it."
There will be more racing in the region on Tuesday with an eight-race meet at Scone.
