The competition increased this season following the introduction of a second Benchwarmers outfit.
TSA senior vice president Nat Crittle said it was great to see more people play softball and also made note of another group of players helping out numbers-wise.

"We had an extra team join and now we have six ladies teams and each of those have some juniors - under 14s and mod ballers, which is under 11s - filling in spots," Crittle said.
"Those young players have developed some really good skills since we started."
With under 11s being the highest junior age group at the moment in Tamworth, it means the players have to make the step up into the open age when they are 12.
Crittle said the experience could be "daunting" but noted that "most teams are really accommodating".
"I coach United as well and they help out all the young players," Crittle said.
"The girls might be running around bases but will be telling fielders where to stand and that sort of thing."
There are five weeks to go until finals kick off with the grand final to be played on March 27.
While the seniors competition is midway through, Crittle said there was other ways for interested players to get a game in.
"We're happy with what we've got but we're always looking for new players. We've got the social mixed competition happening again on a Wednesday night at 6.30pm. It is purely social and for fun," she said.
