The Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) forecasts rain is overwhelmingly likely every day this week until Thursday.
There's a 95 per cent of at least some showers on Monday, plus the chance of a thunderstorm that could be severe, according to the BoM. The city could get as much as 30mm of rain.

Dams across the region are already looking healthier than they have in years, after strong rainfall and thunderstorm activity over the last weeks.
Chaffey Dam last week hit the 40 per cent benchmark to allow water restrictions to be downgraded. The dam was 41.3 per cent full on Sunday, and Level 1 restrictions will be in place on Monday morning.
Meanwhile, Keepit Dam is 38.9 per cent full, with the enormous Copeton Dam 17.6 per cent full and rising.
A number of roads across the city and region remained closed on Sunday after scattered flooding last year.
One lane of Camerons Road was closed due to flood damage, with the Burgmanns Lane causeway reportedly still flooded.
The Congi low-level bridge at Back Woolbrook Road was closed due to flood damage.
At Breeza, the Road Hill Road was closed between Clifton Road and Perfrement Road on Sunday.
