On Sunday a motorcycle accident left a 37 year-old-man with multiple injuries.
He was hospitalised and taken to the Narrabri Hospital.
The rescue helicopter was called to the scene later the same day to conduct an urgent transfer for the man to a higher-level hospital.
The man was stabilised in Narrabri by the helicopter medical team, before the service flew him to Newcastle's John Hunter Hospital on Sunday.
He will undergo further specialist treatment for his injuries in Newcastle.
The incident followed an earlier urgent retrieval from Wee Waa Hospital for an 82 year-old woman.
She was reportedly suffering a serious medical condition.
After the helicopter team stabilised her at Wee Waa, she was flown directly to Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital on Sunday.
On Boxing Day the helicopter was tasked with urgently transferring an 82 year-old man from Inverell hospital.
The man was suffering from a serious medical condition and required care in a larger hospital.
He was flown directly to John Hunter Hospital where he was given specialist treatment.
