The day opened with the Sue Grills trained Leslie James making a late surge to pip Rubick's Command at the line in the 1100m Colts, Geldings and Entires Maiden Plate.
In the Fillies and Mares Maiden, Mikayla Weir guided Troy O'Neile's Mook's Sister to the win by nearly three lengths.
In the Benchmark 66 Handicap over 1400m, Ned Coldbeck's Cocky Rocky looked home and hoses but Reece Jones timed his run on Dreaming For More to give Quirindi trainer Peter Mills the win.
Paddy Cunningham's Shiver Me Timbers led for most of the 1400m Benchmark 58 Handicap only too be pipped by Keith Smith's Ballybrack at the line.
