The wait is almost over for Tamworth International Eventing with the club to hold the first official competition post-covid at AELEC this Saturday and Sunday.

President Sharmayne Spencer said the club had been working hard alongside AELEC staff to put together a covid safety plan to ensure the safest show possible.
"There's definitely a bit of responsibility but we were last event at AELEC and now the first event back.As much as there's a little trepidation, we're really excited to produce a safe show," she said.

The competition caters for all riders - starting at 45cm through to the CCN4*class.
"We'll have competitors will be as young as eight attending all the way to riders in their 60s," Spencer said.
"It's amazing to have men and women compete against each other and riders of all ages compete."
