Blake and Lachlan Butler from DLX Detailing are preparing to throw a fundraising car wash for Nioka.
Friends of Nioka provide funds and equipment to the Palliative Care Ward at the Tamworth Regional Referral Hospital.
There is still the best part of three months left in the year, but the two brothers say their plan will bring some cheer into what otherwise is and has been a pretty questionable year.
It's been a tough year so we are best to be able to spread some cheer, give back to community and raise funds for palliative care.

"The reason we thought of doing this and want to do this is because with everything going on with the coronavirus, we want to spread some happiness throughout the town and we thought, what better place to fundraise for than Nioka?" Blake said.
"It's been a tough year so we are best to be able to spread some cheer, give back to community and raise funds for palliative care," Lachlan added.
With a few sponsors backing them all the way, all proceeds from the wash will go directly to Nioka. They say come along, get a wash and a shammie, and raise money for a good cause.
"If we get weather like we've been having this week it will be fantastic, and we already have a heap of volunteers lined up to help out," Blake said.
The event will be held on October 18 from 10am until 2pm at the Car and Dog wash on Goonoo Goonoo Road. It's $15 for cars and $20 for 4WDs and utes.
