The Central Energy linesman had a massive day last Friday, starting work at Parkes in the state's Central West, before driving home to Narrabri and then heading to Tamworth for the WEG 9s draft selection night in the Ken Chillingworth Room at Wests.
Then it was a drive home!
He would have been more than happy, though, with the final leg of a tiring marathon after securing important key men in his Careys Freight Lines side.
Kootingal playmaker Sam Taylor, Narrabri young gun Jacob Nichols and Moree pivot Ben Williams were three of his major targets and he claimed all three.
