The big four bank is set to close its Wee Waa bank, in March next year.
Barwon MP Roy Butler said it was a tough blow for a community that has given years of loyalty to the company.
He recommended locals "take their business to another bank".

A spokesperson for ANZ committed the company to do its best to "retain as many employees as possible". The company would help them move into a range of new roles like at the bank call centre, in customer resolution or hardship teams, they said.
Every year the bank measures a 10 per cent reduction in customer transactions, they said.
"Increasingly, our customers prefer to do their banking when it suits them and the ANZ App, internet banking and our call centre services allow for greater flexibility."
"We will work closely with our vulnerable customers to help them with alternative banking methods which may include digital options, using the Customer Contact Centre more, debit cards or banking at a different branch."
Mr Butler said many people in the area did not have access to a good internet connection - or the skills to use it. He said the closure meant a reduction in amenity for the community.
