NEGS head coach Rachelle Hirst said: "We are very proud of our NEGS girls and are very excited to give them the opportunity to work with triple Olympic gold medalist Matt Ryan on a regular basis.
"Matt brings an enormous amount of experience and expertise to the NEGS coaching team.
"It is an exciting opportunity for our NEGS girls to develop their skills and knowledge to achieve their riding goals."
Ryan is no stranger to NEGS, having previously conducted sellout clinics at the Equestrian Centre.
And in a nice piece of equestrian history, his two gold medal-winning horses were both bred by Australia's first female Olympic equestrian competitor, and NEGS old girl, Bridget "Bud" Hyem.
