It's no mean fete, with librarians undertaking the major task of returning the 1336 books and DVDs borrowed with the click-and-collect system back into circulation.
It involves a rigorous 72 hour quarantine process, followed by a disinfectant before they can return to their shelves, ready for the next borrower.
Liverpool Plains Shire Mayor Andrew Hope said the health, safety and wellbeing of library staff and visitors to the library is Council's number one priority.

"[T]he reopening has taken place following the best advice provided by NSW Health," he affirmed.
Only four visitors at a time will be allowed within the Quirindi library, with eight allowed in Werris Creek.
For those looking to use a computer, bookings are essential, with a top of 30 minutes allowed at the screen.

A special hour has been provided for seniors and the vulnerable, between 10am and 11am.
