Tamworth Regional Council's quarterly progress review revealed the rangers caught drivers doing the wrong thing in daily patrols of the CBD, especially in disabled parking spots, bus and taxi zones.
The officers respond to complaints from the public about areas where wrongdoing is more frequent, and this time In Street, Out Street and Bridge Street around Biada and the Tamworth Airport car park were identified as places with the worst offenders.
Every Tuesday or Thursday, officers would patrol school zones in Tamworth before or after school.
At least 56 school zones were patrolled compared to 81 last quarter and 10 infringement notices were issued.
