AT Felicity Urquhart's kitchen table, Lyn Bowtell and Kevin Bennett plan world domination.
Well, not exactly.
The trio still have work to do on conquering the world, but they have dominated the Golden Guitar Awards this year, up for 13 between them for their solo projects.
Bowtell first met Urquhart on the talent quest circuit when they were teenagers, BBU is where she feels most comfortable, she said.
"It doesn't feel like work," she said.
"For me it's actually a real release and emotionally it's like Fliss has said, that comfortable feeling of putting on a pair of old ugg boots.
"It's a safe place and it can be a real juggle, in 2019 we had our own solo stuff to deal with but we go with the ebb and flow."
Just hours before the band's cover art was put together as Country, Heart and Soul, Urquhart threw "a spanner in the works" and suggested the trio move forward with their own names.
Bennett, Bowtell and Urquhart will perform one show on Wednesday, 5pm at Wests.
