The Minister responsible for Skills and Tertiary Education, Geoff Lee, said that the NSW Government fee-free apprenticeships and Smart and Skilled funded courses means that there's never been a better time to study at TAFE NSW.
"There are more than half a million new jobs in the pipeline right now that require doing, not just knowing," he said.
Courses for nine of the 10 most in-demand jobs are already being delivered by TAFE NSW.
"With courses and bachelor degrees in areas such as cyber security and drone technology, and information technology, choosing TAFE NSW is an obvious choice for people looking to secure their first job, win a promotion or embark on a career change," Minister Lee said.
"TAFE NSW students are in high demand because of the quality of their education and ability to hit the ground running with the job-ready skills that employers are looking for.
Minister Lee said "visitors to Open Day on 14 September will learn more about how studying one of over 1,200 courses at TAFE NSW can turbocharge their career".
