A MAN found hiding from police in Dumaresq Dam has fronted Armidale Local Court charged with armed robbery, resisting police and escaping lawful custody.

Police claim Joseph Cutmore, 23, was one of two people who robbed a home in Edward Street in July armed with a baseball bat and fishing knife.
He was taken to Armidale Hospital after appearing in court to receive medical attention for a minor issue.
Once doctor's cleared Cutmore, police walked him back to the car when he allegedly broke free and ran.
Police scoured the surrounds and allegedly found Cutmore hiding in Dumaresq Creek.
Cutmore faced court on Friday, the matter has been adjourned until Monday. Bail was not applied for and was formally refused.
Co-accused Jayen Dunn, 21, is charged with armed robbery and will face court again on Monday.
