Almost everything can be found on the internet these days, except jobs it seems, with over 80 per cent of local opportunities not being advertised online, according to two local job agencies.

Recently, several public Facebook pages have been peppered with posts from people seeking work in the Tamworth region, as almost all local businesses tighten their belt through drought.
Best Employment marketing coordinator Kate Ottewell said while social media is "not necessarily a bad way to get your name out there", traditional methods still reign supreme.
"Have the confidence and the persistence to put yourself out there and walk in to businesses with a CV - make yourself shine," she said.
"You might hear a lot of no's, but you only need one yes."

Ms Ottewell said that over 80 per cent of jobs are not advertised, with word of mouth and right place right time generally the key to entry level positions.
"Advertising jobs costs a business money, and conducting interviews or sorting resumes takes time that many employers don't have," she said.
"Whether it is online, or going door to door, if you are trying you are taking a step in the right direction."
Best Employment's Rachel Sherwood said more and more employers are looking to Facebook to advertise open positions, although stressed jobseekers still have more opportunity going door to door.
"If you are standing in front of an employer you can sell yourself - they can see what they are going to get," she said.
"It is really tough at the moment, and a lot of jobs are word of mouth so get out there, and come and see a job service as well."
NSW Business Chamber manager Joe Townsend urged local jobseekers not to overlook traineeships and apprenticeships, as well as work in the local abattoirs such as Teys.
"It might not be what you are after immediately, but those companies have great internal programs for progression, and those entry level roles pay well at the same time - the WHS manager at Teys started as a trainee in the boning room," he said.
"Any experience is relevant, whether it was mowing lawns or washing dishes, so make use of any opportunities you get.
"A good job isn't going to come along and bite you on the bum, you have to get out there and get it."
