Last year local lawyers Anneka Frayne and Joanna Birtles were clearing out their wardrobes when a bolt of inspiration struck.
"We just got thinking about what we could do with our clothes that could make a difference," Ms Frayne said.
"We both like shopping and having a good time, so we just thought if we could pool everyone's clothes together and make them cheap and accessible we could achieve something."
The Sip, Shop, Support event sees all clothing sold for just $2, as well as a $5 cover charge and a cash bar, with plenty of designer labels and "beautiful clothing" being donated from the community again this year.

Last year the ladies made over $2000 for the Tamworth Women's Refuge, and have this year turned their attention to helping local homeless people via the Flourish organisation.
"We have had a lot of clothes and other items come in, brands like Country Road and Ralph Lauren that still have tags on them - and everything is just $2," Ms Birtles said.
"We are only selling good quality clothing and are hoping that the money raised can be used to buy some sleeping bags and homeless swags - Flourish will distribute the money raised."
An added bonus this year is a tasty offer from the UNE Meat Science Research department.
The university need 60 people to try seven different pieces of grilled lamb, and score them for a research project. In return the department will donate $1000 to the charity.
"We are going to get 20 people to try the lamb each hour of the event, but need people to book spots," Ms Frayne said.
The Sip, Shop, Support 4 Homeless event will be held at the Tamworth Jockey Club on Friday August 2 from 4pm to 7pm.
Bookings for the lamb tasting can be made via the Sip, Shop, Support Facebook page, with only 30 tickets remaining as of Monday.
