Competing in division two of the tournament in Grafton, the New England team began their campaign with a convincing 4-nil win over Newcastle.
Next up they thrashed Sydney South 5-nil.
In a tough match against the Southern Highlands, they managed to pinch a 1-nil win.
In their first versus fourth pool match against Newcastle, the New England team stormed home for a huge 6-nil triumph.
The semi-finals saw them take on Tamworth. New England scored early but Tamworth hit back almost immediately.
The match resulted in a 1-all draw but due to their first place finish, the New England team entered the division two grand final.
Facing a strong Sydney Northern Beaches outfit, the New England team were dealt a blow early, conceding the first goal.
They hit back to level up 1-all but further goals were scored resulting in a draw.
New England and the Northern Beaches were declared joint state champions.
Hockey New England was also represented by Harry Lye and Aiden Wicks as umpire coaches for the state carnival.
Olivia Clark and Hayley Lennon were both ranked in the top five umpires for division one.
Lennon landing a spot to umpire the grand final and finished as number one umpire of the tournament.
Olivia was given the division one relegation match.
