POLICE have seized ammunition, drugs and what they claim is the getaway car used in Sunday night's home invasion in Tamworth.
Detectives have now carried out two raids in Green Street and Flemming Crescent in Tamworth, and have seized several goods connected to the armed break-in at Dowell Avenue.
Jerome Gordon Haines is behind bars, charged with the aggravated break-in at the East Tamworth home on Sunday night.
Police allege he was one of two men that stormed the Dowell Avenue address, armed with a knife. Another man is still allegedly on the run.
Haines, 18, was arrested during the Flemming Crescent raid after police claim they found him hiding under a bed.
He fronted Tamworth Local Court on Tuesday where magistrate Julie Soars ordered he remain in custody until the case returns to court in late-August.
Oxley Acting Inspector Jason Darcy said police would allege that "items connected to Sunday's night offence" were seized at the home.
He said police raided a Green Street house on Tuesday morning where they seized the silver Mitsubishi Lancer which they claim was used in the armed home invasion, as well as the attempted robbery of an elderly man in his motorhome, across the road from West Tamworth McDonald's.
"Ammunition and drugs as well as the silver Mitsubishi Lancer were seized during the search warrant in Green Street," he said.

"Detectives are appealing for anyone else that may have dashcam footage or who saw that silver Lancer being driven on Sunday night.
"Police believe it would have been at a number of service stations and fast food outlets in town and we're keen to review any CCTV footage."
Detective Darcy said witnesses had come forward and investigations were continuing.
He said no charges had been laid in relation to the seizure of the goods and the car on Tuesday but "inquiries continue".
