Zone 3 president Ian Bannister said it was set to be an action-packed weekend of bowls.
"With three competitions going on, it is set to be a weekend of high-quality bowls," Bannister said.
"The action starts at 9am on Saturday at all three clubs, and the finals will be on Sunday afternoon after lunch."
The knock-out style tournament will see more than eight games played on the first day of competition alone.
"This competition is open to anyone who nominates," Bannister said.
"From there, the play off against each other vying for a place in the semi finals and eventually the final.
"This weekend is a part of the zone playoffs, which will eventually be played at four different venues before it's all said and done."
Bannister said the zone playoffs would act as a qualifier for the state pairs championships in October.
"It will be pretty competitive with everyone wanting to go to the state titles," he said.
"Personally I think it will be an excellent weekend of bowls."
