Split over two weekends, the club hosted the qualifying stages of the Cup carnival last weekend and is now prepared to crown a new champion.
Club president Robert Munn said he was expecting a "highly-competitive field" for Saturday's cup race.
"At this stage our Cup meeting is coming together really nicely," Munn said.
"Last week was a really good meeting and I think it has really set the scene for an exciting day on Saturday."

The club received a major boost ahead of the first day of the carnival in the form of added prize money and a lifting of restriction from the track by Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW).
After the track underwent an upgrade earlier this year, GRNSW deemed it would only be allowed to host six dog races instead of the traditional eight.
The restriction was lifted in the lead up to last week's meeting.
"I think that restriction being lifted and the added prize money was a major incentive to the trainers," Munn said.
"We've also had a few new sponsors come on this year, which is always great.
"Things are really starting to happen for us and here's hoping it will be a great day."
With the first race set for 1.30pm and Cup race scheduled for 3.30pm, Munn said the day would offer "something for everybody".
"We will be having lots of activities for the kids and families, as well as full TAB and bar facilities," he said.
"Entry is free on the day, so it would be great to see lots of people there."
