AN EAGLE-eyed high flier spotted an unusual crop feature after the rain in the Gunnedah area recently.
The heart shape was carefully marked in a paddock west of town by an unnamed and believed to be "very part-time" tractor driver.
He wondered if the driver was bored from going 'round and 'round - or if maybe it was a romantic gesture for someone.
It comes after another alert resident of the region spotted an equally mysterious message from the air - albeit using Google Earth - late last year.
The question of who marked the name "Terry" on the ground at the north-east side of Chaffey Dam - or who Terry is or was - remains somewhat up in the air.
One reader claimed it was in honour of her late husband, while another said it had been done by a heavy machinery operator at the dam.
