If you take a look at Chaffey Dam on Google Earth, you might spot something unusual.
Just to the side of the north-east corner of the dam, some strange markings can be seen.
An eagle-eyed reader spotted them and on closer inspection it becomes clear those markings read ‘TERRY’.

A look back at our own files reveal the large inscription in the ground has been there since, at least, 2016.
The letters are roughly 70 metres in length while each letter is about 30 metres high.
Head to the 56-second mark to see the huge ‘Terry’ written in the ground.
The mystery of who wrote the ‘Terry’? – or even better: who is Terry? – has taken over our office.
