Tamworth Oztag co-ordinator Pam Potts told the Leader the weekend's success reflected the hard work of the competitors.
"I think to have six of our eight sides go deep into the competition is very exciting," Potts said.
"To be honest, I think that is our best all around tournament result ever and I really think it shows the improvement of everyone involved."
The victorious under-20 men's team took all before them, finishing the tournament undefeated.
"They were playing really well throughout the whole event," Potts said.
"It was a great win for them and I think they are all really keen to take the step into division one in the future."
While the under-20 men's side enjoyed ultimate success, the under-20 women's side fell painfully short.
"Unfortunately the girls lost the semi-final in double-over time," Potts said.
"They were tied with the winning team at the end of over time but the other side progressed due to being ranked higher.
"It's a tough way to bow out but the girls, like all of our players were super throughout the event."
