Hosted by Gunnedah Motocross Club, the 125 race meeting will feature a variety of different disciplines including the postie bike races, the sidecar championships and the pro-open.
Gunnedah Motocross Club president Anthony Dall told the Namoi Valley Independent Saturday's action would be run in-conjunction with Gunnedah Shire Council's Weeks of Speed program.
"It really is shaping up to be a great event with even more competitors taking part this year," Dall said.
"At this stage the entries have been coming in thick and fast and we are looking at having four full grids of 450 riders.
"That's massive and really bodes well for the 125 race card we have lined up."

Australian number one Michael Kirkness, and NSW number one Jarryd Oram will be among several quality riders tackling local hopes like Thomas Donnelly in the night's 450s category.
"I'd say our main events of the evening are the pro-open, the pro-450s, the MX open and the sidecars," Dall said.
"But I think with events that cater for kids as young as seven to people over 35, I really think there will be something for everyone."
Practice begins at Balcary Park Raceway from 2pm with the club charging $5 entry throughout the night.
"We will have full canteen and bar facilities so it should be a good night," Dall said.
"It would be great to see a big crowd come out for it."
