COUNTRY music legend Lee Kernaghan has been chosen to honour the men and women who have served Australia at the Invictus Games.
Written alongside Garth Porter and Colin Buchanan, Kernaghan has premiered the video for I Am Invictus, the official song of the Invictus Games Sydney.
Australian War Memorial director Brendan Nelson initiated the project that coincides with the 100th anniversary of the singing of the Armistice on November 11 and the end of The Great War.
“After the War is a stunning musical tribute to every Australian who has given their all for our nation in the uniform of navy, army and airforce,” he said.
“From the Invictus Games Sydney 2018 single to the title track, these are songs of love, friendship, loyalty and the triumph of the human spirit in the face of tough times.
