Kimberley Resch walked away from the Group 4 presentation night this week laden with awards after her eye-popping points-scoring exploits this season.

Resch has been the chief protagonist in an undefeated North Tamworth side who await a meeting with Kootingal-Moonbi in the tier-one league-tag grand final at Jack Woolaston Oval on Sunday.
She was named league tag’s player of the year after scoring the most tries (44) and points (280) in the competition. Her points tally, which included 54 goals, is a Group 4 record.
She won the player of the year award by 19 points.

But despite all that, Resch said: “At the moment we’re undefeated but it means nothing going into a grand final … anything can happen.”
She added: “Everything we’ve been doing throughout the season, it’s got to lift another level.”
