CHANGED traffic conditions remain in place after a two-vehicle car accident in Gunnedah, on Tuesday.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Abbott and Barber Streets at about 1pm.
Police, ambulance and Fire and Rescue crews were on hand to ensure traffic continued to flow safely and to clean up debris from the accident.
One person was taken to hospital, where they remain in a stable condition.
Gunnedah Shire Council crews are helping to direct traffic until tow trucks arrive to remove the cars from the scene.
Gunnedah police are urging drivers to take care when passing the intersection and to drive with caution on local roads.
