A CROWD of thousands turned out to Anzac Park on Wednesday for the 2018 Tamworth Dawn Service.
Armed with winter woolies, beanies and coats, the early morning service saw families with young children, school children, veterans and the serving bow their heads in a moment of silence in what would be the start of a day of Anzac activities.
Veterans placed their hands on their hearts and remembered their fallen colleagues.
