A YOUNG man remains in a critical condition after he reportedly fell from an awning at a Gunnedah pub on Sunday morning.
Gunnedah police told Fairfax Media on Monday morning the 19-year-old man remains in a critical condition in Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital.
Investigations into the incident are continuing.

Emergency services were called to The Courthouse Hotel on Conadilly Street just after 4am, following reports of a fall at the venue.
The 19-year-old man is believed to have sustained a head injury, after he fell from an awning attached to the hotel.
The Leader understands passers-by raised the alarm and witnesses and hotel staff attempted to assist the man until emergency services arrived.
The man was taken to Tamworth Hospital by road ambulance, however he was airlifted by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter to John Hunter Hospital at about 10am, Sunday.
He was reported to be in a critical condition.
The injured man was believed to have been employed as an entertainer at the hotel on Saturday night.
The venue had played host to a number of high-profile DJs from the Candy Entertainment group as visiting acts from Sydney.
At this stage it is not believed to be suspicious.

Oxley Police District duty officer, Inspector Michael Wurth confirmed the man was among a number of entertainers who performed at the venue.
On Sunday morning a crime scene was established at the hotel with forensic officers from Tamworth called to collect evidence.
Detectives from the Oxley Police District are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Inspector Wurth said the investigation was only in its early stages and police were working on piecing together the moments leading up to the fall.
“At this stage it is not believed to be suspicious,” he said.
“As always, if anyone has information in relation to this incident they should contact Gunnedah Police Station.”
A spokesperson for The Courthouse Hotel was unable to comment.
