The free concert was well attended in the afternoon, watching the young stars perform was a great way for many Country Music visitors to beat the heat of Friday afternoon.
Friday was a busy day with the Opening Concert a great success including the fireworks which were able go off in the total fire ban because of local NSW Fire and Rescue Crews.
You’ll see over a dozen young women in candy striped shirts this Festival, these are the contestants of the Northern Daily Leader Queens of Country Music. They were officially sashed yesterday.
The Buskers were another exciting part of Day One, living up to the reputation of being one of the best parts of festival.
