Grace Edgecock, Amelia Fauchon, Oliver Fauchon, Alexis French and Courtney Mulligan returned a combined 17 personal best times across 18 events as they mixed it with the best in the state.
For Amelia Fauchon, Milligan and French the championships provided the perfect platform to launch into the NSW State Age Short Course Championships next month, after all three of them swam impressive qualifying times at Homebush.
Fauchon qualified with a third in the 200m butterfly, sixth in the 100m fly and tenth in the 100m breaststroke, while Milligan went through with a tenth and seventh in the 50m and 100m freestyle respectively.
French will race in the 50m breaststroke after she placed eighth at the country champs.
Head coach Pedro Barbosa was more than pleased with the great results from the swimmers.
“I am very happy and proud with the team’s strong performances and have a huge expectation for this group over the coming months.”
The trio will head back to SOPAC for the short course championships from August 26.
