Arena performs tonight at the Tamworth Regional Entertainment and Conference Centre and said she was touring regional areas because those audiences often missed out.
“We have made a lot of effort to come to regional parts of Australia,” she said.
“People always say that artists don’t play regional areas, and tonight is a chance to do that and if there’s a great crowd, there will be a knock-on effect. If people come, then other artists will come and that’s what communities want, I think.”
The Reset tour is Arena as you have never heard her before, but there are plenty of hits that will have you singing along as she continues to do what she does best.
Arena has embarked on this national tour with a new show where she will bring to life the album and thrill audiences with hits from her entire career.
“If they want to have a great time, they should come along to the show tonight,” she said.
Landing in Tamworth yesterday, Arena said she would have time to breathe and rest before the show tonight.
She said she just wanted to take it all in. “It’s difficult to plan,” she said.
“I’ve had three shows in a row which takes a lot of energy and you’ve gotta be in pretty good shape.”
The tour has been a hit everywhere it’s visited.
“Everything has been a highlight,” Arena said.
“It’s been great and the people’s reactions have been terribly favourable, which has been lovely for us.”
Arena said she loved taking to the stage for the same reason other people loved what they were passionate about.
Arena will burn up the stage at TRECC tonight with tickets available at the door.
