This term there is a focus on hospitality and compliance courses, together with a wide range of computer and business courses for students from beginner to advanced levels.
Back by popular demand are the events workshop and a new accredited course for planning and managing events, which focuses on giving participants detailed knowledge and a certificate for a unit of competency for the event and marketing industry.
The weekend cheese-making workshop is also back this term. This is a fantastic opportunity to grab a group of friends and participate in an interactive workshop where you learn how to make camembert, fetta, ricotta and much more and this term we will be making pasta, mozzarella and gnocchi. Morning tea and a cheese-inspired lunch are included in the price.
At the Quirindi campus, term one 2013 offers business, hospitality and compliances courses as well as the very popular furniture and upholstery courses, which will run for eight Fridays from February 1 as well as two weekend workshops scheduled in February and March. Needlecraft, photography, yoga and a new pastel painting course are also offered at the Quirindi campus.
If students have a suggestion for a new course or businesses are seeking customised workshops for their employees, other than those advertised for term one, it encourages them to contact the college on 6763 0630 and have a chat to the training and quality manager, Rogan Poulier.
