At Kitchener Park, Kookaburras made 218 and dismissed Mornington for 137 while Court House made 157 at Longmuir Oval but defended it well, bowling out Albion for 125 to register a 32-run win.
Farran Lamb starred with bat and ball for Court House, topscoring with 53 and then snaring 4-17 from his eight overs in a brilliant all-round performance.
He hit seven fours and a six in his half century and was abetted by Brad Gander (22) and Justin Carter (23).
Andrew Darby was best of the Albion bowlers, claiming 3-11 from his seven overs while Andrew Swain (2-39), skipper James Mack (2-26) and leg spinner Blake Small (3-26) also had success.
Damien Baldwin’s unbeaten 53 was the highlight for Albion in an effort where Luke Curgenveen (17), Sam Crafter (12), Blake Small (11) and Andrew George (13) all made double figures.
While Lamb bowled three maidens in his brilliant four- wicket spell, Brad Gander also took 3-33, Sam Doubleday nipped in with 2-26 from his eight and Boyd McCormack (1-14) also grabbed a wicket.
Kookaburras were always on top at Kitchener where Paddy Paul’s 65 led the way.
He hit 10 boundaries in his half century and, with Eddie McGuirk (22), put on 82 for the opening wicket.
Ian Gardner (26), Derek Lodge (42no) and Sam Lumby also hit out in the 218-run innings, with Lodge and Lumby adding 63 for the fifth wicket.
Trent Hilton was a shining light for Mornington.
He took 2-34 off his eight overs and then topscored with 43 in the run chase.
Cliff Stokes, Chris de Groot and Ryan Pryde all took wickets for Mornington while Bryce Johnston’s 4-12 spearheaded his side’s 81-run win.
Shayne Riordan also claimed 2-22 while Troy Sands was tight (1-22 off 8) and Wayne Ryan (1-37) was also impressive in his eight overs.
