Frank Henry was the winner and took out the coveted Brock Sampson Trophy.
Henry played 28 rounds and on average scored 16.61 points.
Tamworth Veterans Golf captain Peter Izod said consistency was key for Henry.
"He hasn't won many golf days but was always right up there," Izod said of Henry.
"A lot of members, they'll shoot an incredible score and then next they'll score nothing or a very poor score.
"He's been very consistent throughout the year. Even on Friday, he still had 16 points."
The annual award, along with weekly awards, were given out at the club's Christmas luncheon on Friday.
"Everyone appreciated the lunch and we had a beautiful day, the weather couldn't have been better," Izod said.
"A good day was had by all, particularly the prize winners."
The top for scorers on Friday won themselves a ham.
The lucky winners were: Wayne Elliott (21pts), Barry Squire (19pts), Andrew Horton (19pts) and Max Henry (19pts). The vets will play their last round for the year this Friday before returning on January 7.
