Hosted by the Kootingal Lions Club, the Kooty Art Show attracted record entries, with 216 paintings adorning the walls of the Kootingal Community Hall.
Exhibition coordinator Lee Rodger said organisers were thrilled after more than 100 people attended Friday's opening night, despite floods impacting attendance.
"We're very pleased with the quality and the standard of the art show and the depth of painting variety we have from very modern through to very traditional," she told the Leader.
"We had a wide range of techniques represented, the quality of the works are very good and the judges commented favourable on that."

The grand champion of the show and winner of $1500 sponsored by Joblink Plus was Jill Cairns with her pastel piece 'On the Edge'.
"It's a beautiful painting showing the tumbledown sheer cliffs that come down in the Apsley Gorge down to the dark, deep shadow into the gorge itself and showing the plains across the top in a dramatic form of artwork with pastels," Ms Rodger explained.
"It's a winter shot so it's dark and cold, and a very nicely executed piece."
Artworks will remain online and available for sale until mid-March, with a "good number" of sales already taking place over the weekend.
Money raised at the annual Kooty Art Show goes towards various community projects including painting seats around town and building a pathway between Kootingal and Moonbi.
